I founded We Smell The Rain in 2015, an Amsterdam-based design studio creating unique ways to bring nature indoors. Our focus is to bridge the gap between nature and the city.
One of our principal motivation was to remind people of the necessity to treat nature with kindness – to pay attention to the small things, to notice when things start to take a turn for the worse.
With our vision in mind, we launched our first product collection the Kokedama. We sold our product range internationally through our online shop and in European design stores - our favorites being; The Conran Shop - London and Paris, Hutspot and Restored - Amsterdam.
Asides from producing all our own products, running our online store and supplying to our wholesale clients, we hosted monthly and private workshops. We designed, produced and installed custom-built installations for our international clients.
